Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon... except for the tangle of dangerous-looking vines surrounding it...

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

ClimbingGreenVine is a friendly and playful Vine Dragon hatchling. His best friend is DarkMoonDream, a Black Dragon hatchling. Even though ClimbingGreenVine is rooted to the ground, the two boys are always playing and mentally chatting. DarkMoonDream talks almost nonstop, while ClimbingGreenVine is more of a mental listener. They love to play catch with large melons as toys. Though they both end up sticky with melon pulp at the end, this is their favorite game.
