Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Silver females eat meat only when a male dragon brings it to them as part of courtship, though they are typically highly-independent. They possess an almost magical aura that lights up any place they are in, and are looked upon with awe by humans and animals alike.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Krista has always been the princess in her parent's lives. She was their first egg laid after they lost their first daughter and has been adored ever since: a beacon of hope. Krista lived up to her father's and great-grandmother's expectations, proving herself to be kind, nurturing, and strong-willed- all traits valued highly in her family. Early on in her life, she developed a passionate relationship with Ymir, a dragon from a rival clan. They were laid on the same day, hatched on the same day, and became adults on the same day- born to be together. Their devotion to each other bridged the gap between their families, especially when the young couple was having problems conceiving. Krista, like her parents, has lost children, but also gained them, loving every aspect of her life with her family.
