Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It must be very shy since it keeps hiding from you.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Minty Kisses is a young hatchling with a love for adventure. In fact, this dragon has a few fellow explorers that often accompany her on her travels: the Electric and Greenwing hatchlings, Grounded Thunder and Burning Triumph. The trio have gone on many quests together, facing fierce monsters (usually their imaginations) and acquiring massive amounts of treasure (well, a few coins is a lot to them, at least). Although their explorations are usually, in truth, harmless, the group did once come in to contact with a truly menacing creature. The found themselves wandering the cave of a Magi and woke the adult dragon with their 'battle cries'. Unfortunately, their foe was too powerful, and though they escaped with their lives, they did not escape without taking on a strange curse. The dragon's magic had seemingly frozen their bodies in time, leaving the trio to never grow up and to stay as little hatchlings for the rest of their lives. As long as they can still explore, they don't mind.
