Sunset Dragons are closely related to sunrise dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunset Dragons generally live alone or in small packs. They are more active in the evening, hunting and performing all of their daily tasks as the sun sets.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Sun Speckle was once a mate to Dream Giver but left him. Although Sun Speckle was once mean and unhappy, she went to something like a convent, a place of peace and quietness. Although Sun Speckle had children, the convent accepted her. Of course this didn't make her a respected member, having children. For sometime Sun Speckle question her reasons for coming to the convent but the leader trusted Sun Speckle and when the leader passed, she made Sun Speckle the leader. At first Sun Speckle was scared but she quickly took charge of the Convent with ease. She is very happy now, especially when Sunset's Life joined her. Some of the elder dragons like to muse how such an upstart like Sun Speckle became the leader of a such peaceful place.
