Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Tranquility is the great grandson of the gloriously golden Epica. Tranquility loves his golden form, as it seems to sooth others. He often flies over the villages of the land, and when they see his trail of gold glittering across the sky, it appears more beautiful than any sunset or sunrise, and brings joy, love, and happiness. His roar is more beautiful than any song made by man or animal. Those who come into contact with Tranquility often experience good luck afterwards, and often find their true love.
