Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Asta wasn't a dragon born in the clan. Many years ago, Erebos Armand, a young black dragon, happened to wander on the broad grassland North of the clan's mountain. That night, darkness thickened under a starless sky, and Armand was surprised to see a bright shooting star flying towards him with lightning speed. He caught it with his tail, and nearly fainted to discover the star was indeed a tiny, sparkling hatchling curl up inside a magic globe. Blood smeared on her scales as if she was sent off from a fierce battle. Believing in fate, Armand decided to raise the hatchling up, and named her Wenceslas Asta, which means "More glory for the one as bright as a star".

Asta's love for her guardian ran strong and deep. Armand refused her love at first, but after being chased after, stalked, begged and even threatened for years, finally he gave up and bond with her. Even until this day when they have become elders, her mate still jokes that she did not steal but robbed him of his heart.
