Moonstone Dragons are named after the orb on their tails, which resembles the gem of the same name. They are nocturnal and gather energy through the absorption of moonlight with their orbs. They seem to glow with a lunar light and are a very gentle breed, feeding off of plants and the moons’ power.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

This is the Moonstone Dragon Shine of the Stone. Nicknamed 'Shine', she serves as a midnight caretaker, handling all the hatchlings and fledglings that wake up or hatch during the night in her group. She loves being a mother to all the new dragons, and is often considered the head caretaker, despite only being active during the night. She hopes to find someone that can take the other half of the day, so that there are always friendly faces to greet the newhatches and winglings. She eats with the herbivore dragons but loves to hear the hunting stories of the meat eaters.
