Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Shiny is a very admirable tinsel. He got his name when he was a hatchling; he slipped into some smelly stuff that looked like water. When he went to get a drink, he fell in and came out extra metallic. As it turns out the stuff was poisonous and he almost died from sickness, but luckily thanks to the White Dragons he pulled through. He stayed just as shiny though. As for being admirable, he is helpful to the White Dragon to repay his never-ending debt.
