Golden Wyverns are known for their beautiful metallic scales and rumored magical abilities. Living high in the mountains, these dragons do not believe in killing for sport or pleasure. They will hunt only when hungry and defend themselves when provoked, but will avoid killing to the best of their abilities. Golden Wyverns often mingle with other dragons of similar color and take pride in their shimmering hide.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Precious Purity has always been goofy and fun-loving. He never took life seriously, and just enjoyed it for the moment. But despite how naive and child-like he may seem, he is a surprisingly helpful and pure-hearted dragon. It was because of his desire to help others that he tried to become Golden Glister's friend. Goldy had been an extremely snobbish and rude dragon at first, always pushing Precious away in disgust. But eventually he helped her realize how bad her behavior was, and he helped her through the guilt that came with that realization. Now the two live together as mates, and are happy to help any dragons that need it. And Precious is always by his mate's side, ready to give her support if her confidence falters.
