Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
His mother used to tell him stories when he was younger. About a treasure so fantastic, so unimaginable, that generations of dragons have searched for it restlessly. But their efforts had been futile. A young, impressionable hatchling, he had been fascinated with these tales all his hatchlinghood.
Personality-wise, Ravenclaw's Bronze Flash is a very rational and rather scholarly being. If he hasn't seen something with his own eyes or knows for a fact to be true, then he won't believe it. His skeptic attitude managed to annoy quite a lot travelers who shared their life stories with him.
These two pieces of information help explain his strange obsession, though. Every time he sees a rainbow, he tries running to first the one end, then the other. He is searching for that unimaginable treasure his mother told him of, and he can't live without having proof whether that story is true. Yet he has still to manage reaching even one end of the rainbow before it vanishes again.
