White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Arialle travelled far from the British Isles to study with the famed Healer and physician dragon Chiaro. Even though she was a wisp of a hatchling, she was persistent and gifted, so Chiaro offered her an apprenticeship with him. Just as her mentor Chiaro often hummed soothing Italian folk songs, Arialle found that when she  sang ancient Gaelic and Celtic melodies her healing magic would become more powerful. When she became an adult and was ready to begin her own healing practice, her beloved mentor gave her the name "SongHealer".
