Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Civerten is unusually stern. He has been appointed by the other dragons in Tender Talon's brood to be the main disciplinary to new additions and hatchlings. Despite his strict nature, his decisions are always fair and justified. Civerten doesn't like having to be mean when he has to carry out his duty, but if it's a frequent repeat offense he can get frustrated and bruises will ensue.
