Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s very festively colored.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

This cheery little Dragon's name comes from the Albanian word for "snow", and she was definitely aptly named! There is nothing she loves more than flying and playing in fresh snow. Whether it's starting snowball fights or making snow angels and snow dragons, if it's snowing, De'bora is out in the midst of it. She's even been known to try and convince the storm dragons to make it blizzard on sunny days!
