Well, the chick grew up into a chicken, but you’re still not sure how the egg got into that cave...

The true origins of this chicken are quite vague; the egg just curiously showed up in the nursery one day. The Albino dragon Engineer says he found the egg while exploring the bordering forest, although Sergeant believes Engineer laid the egg himself, claiming he's truly the biggest chicken around. Regardless, it was placed in the nest and vigilantly protected like any other. Upon hatching, the smallest addition to the cave finally made her debut! The tiny, fuzzy chick didn't seem to mind at all that her new family was many times larger and of a completely different species; she seemed to feel right at home! Even more surprising, every dragon in the cave seemed to fall in love with her. Those who would normally consider a chicken "dinner" found themselves spoiling her with attention. The hen soon became more than just a strange guest and was adopted into the dragon den as one of their own. Engineer decided to name her 'Courage' after witnessing her peck Sergeant's nose one evening.
