Coastal Waverunners spend most of their time skimming the waves along the coast, snatching up their prey from the shallow waters. They have developed markings along the leading edges of their body that help disguise them as breaking waves. When they are not hunting, they enjoy playing among sand-dunes and shallow tide-pools. These dragons live in small but noisy rookeries. Some stories say Waverunners can fly for days on end without landing.
CastleKing is a master at sculpting sand. Very few can match his artistry; at sand castle competitions, he always gets at least honorable mention and usually wins.
Once another dragon mistook CastleKing's sculpture for the real thing, only discovering the mistake by accidentally knocking it down when taking a closer look. CastleKing promptly buried that dragon in sand up to its neck and then sculpted the body of a giant donkey behind it. Onlookers had quite a laugh at the dragon-headed donkey.
