Olive Dragons are a small, forest-dwelling breed, rarely growing much larger than the average sheep. When alarmed, they can erect a long row of venomous spines on their back, serving to warn any potential predators that Olives are not a good choice for a meal. While not strong enough to kill anything larger than a small deer, their venom causes an extremely painful reaction and necrosis at the bite site, sometimes causing the flesh to rot and limbs to fall off.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Terdu Ka-nohu-o-ka-'aina is an Olive dragon who lives in a swamp near a large flock of flamingos and a herd of flamingo dragons. Recently, a blood-colored Flamingo had made Terdu's swamp her home as well.  Terdu had a few toad friends who told him of the Blood-Flamingo dragon by the name of Valfedora and her frightening history. When she moved into his swamp, Terdu witnessed that she changed her diet to small dragons. Terdu is a lucky exception to the blood-lusting dragoness, they don't call him Ka-nohu-o-ka-'aina to throw everyone off with a Hawaiian name. It means the scorpionfish of the land, notably because of his poisonous spines he has hidden until he needs to play defense to keep from being someone's meal. Valfedora almost fell for preying on an Olive dragon unknowingly.  Terdu spends most of his time harassing and taunting Valfedora, secretly growing fond of the beautiful red Flamingo dragon and her sadistic ways.
