Bolt Dragons are incredibly powerful dragons with the ability to wield lightning magic. They can be ruthless on occasion, but are generally mild unless provoked. Due to their intelligence and keen observational skills, it is incredibly arduous to attack a Bolt Dragon undetected. If threatened by a formidable opponent, Bolt Dragons will flare out their fin-like appendages to make themselves look more menacing.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Sa'adat exists among the legendary dragons of Damian's brood. The number of tales and myths concerning her are as plentiful as sightings of her are scarce. She is said to live high in the mountains, descending on stormy days when the sky is almost black with clouds. Anyone who catches a glimpse of her blue scales is said to be blessed with good luck, while a flash of her golden horns will bring fortune and plenty in an instant. Her appearance also is said to strengthen the storm that summons her, so surviving long enough to reap the rewards is easier said than done.
