Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Riqter is a very impatient dragon. She gets frustrated quickly if things don't go her way. One day, she was sick of being the youngest green dragon. There was a green egg being taken care of, but it seemed like it took forever to hatch. Riqter waited until the guardian dragons were busy with fourteen hatchlings and weren't paying attention to the one little green egg. Riqter smashed her tail to the ground right next to the nest, causing an earthquake that shattered the eggshell and terrified the sleeping hatchling inside. The earthquake caught the attention of all the dragons in the area, causing quite some distress before they found the reason. Riqter was severely punished and has a reputation to this day for being immature and thoughtless, but she is secretly glad for all the attention.
