As the nocturnal relative to Sunbeam Drakes, Moonglow Drakes are a secretive breed most active under the light of the moons and stars. They are wary of others, but are known to have incredible loyalty should their trust be won. Catching sight of Moonglow Drakes as they dance amid the moonlight is seen as a favorable omen by those they live near, and tamed individuals are common. They are slightly smaller than their cousins, averaging around the size of a cat.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

Eventide Essence is an anti-social creature, being found abandoned in an unknown cave, which also makes her bitter. Despite not wanting to socialize with other dragons, she's quite fond of pygmies. Her closest "friend" is a Mint colored dragon named Mind Gleam, as she's willing to share her prey and findings with this small little dragon. She likes to spend her time with Mint Gleam, searching for small treasures like a pearl or the scale of a Golden Wvyern.

She has a hatred against Gorinia, a Day Glory dragon she mistakenly mated with, who also has a disliking for her as well.
