Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Flaming Huntress is as close as you can get to a soccer mom in dragon society. She stays at home and cooks and cleans while her mate Proud Heights goes out and hunts. She raises any hatchlings and eggs they might have at home and rarely goes out just to have fun. She does visit the neighboring dragons in the cave though to gossip and discuss recipes. She seems to have the white picket fence life, without the white picket fence of course, but don't let her seeming normalness fool you. Her relationship is filled with turmoil and her life is far from perfect. She feels obligated to stay at home and be the perfect mate, but she dreams of bigger and better things. Sometimes she will forget to clean and cook because she was daydreaming about bigger possibilities. Proud heights will get agitated when he comes home to a dirty cave without food. He is very traditional in his values and thinks a females place is at home raising the young.
