Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Frigitan is the son of Frigitus, King of Frost. Like his father, he has exceptional magical strength, and is able to easily freeze both objects and beings, sealing them inside a case of frost or turning their blood to ice. His powers are not as great as his parent's, but still formidable, and me makes good use of them in service of his civilization.

Frigitan is dedicated entirely to his work, and the benefit of his cave. He is cold and distant from other dragons, never makes small talk, and is never distracted from his tasks. He is separated from his parents, and they do not converse with one another often. He shuns the company of other dragons, and takes little care for their emotions, never allowing them to impede his efforts. His life revolves solely around work. This makes him amazingly dedicated, useful and beneficial, but deprives him of any personal life he may have had.
