Guardian Dragons have large shields on the end of their tails. Although the shields appear to be heavy, they are light, yet nearly unbreakable. Guardian Dragons use their tail-shields, as well as their wings, to deflect attacks and protect others. Often, they will guard the eggs and hatchlings of a nest while others are away. They are generally peaceful, and will not retaliate unless necessary. They have no need to forage or hunt, as they are fed by those they protect.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Kulggen'mor, whose name means 'the great shield', is the Pack's guardian. Loyal and brave, Kulggen would do virtually  anything to save any of his fellow dragons, and such passionate protection earned him the respect of many, though he is very young in comparison to the others of his brethren. Despite those friendships, he holds a grudge on Toxic of Amazonia, for their hearts belong to the same she-dragon, Lotus Saphira. Before Toxic's arrival, Kulggen was Lotus's favorite. After that, she seemed to change her mind, and such behavior made Kulggen angry. In his rage, he swore to challenge Toxic for a duel as soon as both of them finished their training. Adult dragons don't think much of their attitude.

Some people mistake Kulggen for a 'dumb' or 'brute' dragon, since he does not speak much, but he has a keen intelligence and can use it to wisely defend the Pack in a fight. Arya thinks much of his help, never going to battle without making sure he is on the defense lines.
