And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young drakes are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own.

Ayamatte yoru no eiko is very different from other night glories. She is actually a very outgoing and very friendly, unlike other night glories who are very shy. She loves to make new friends and has a lot of them already. She sometimes feels that she should have been born a day glory because she is so different from the other night glories. She is probably like this because she was raised by day glory parents and has been with day glories her whole life. It was only just recently that she found out that she was different from the rest of the hatchlings.

Her name means mistaken night glory.
