Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It is very brightly colored and enjoys splashing in puddles.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Changing Waves loves the wide ocean. She loves the fish it contains despite pollution caused by careless dragon keepers. Her best friend is a frozen hatchling just like her. His name is Waves of Change. They love flying through the waves that may arise on the high seas. They are allowed the same rights as an adult dragon. They are still considered as hatchlings and they have few adult duties. She likes caring for eggs and catching fish. She is quite mellow to her fellow frozen hatchlings but quite ferocious when under attack.
