Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Akon Adair VonHugh holds a rather high opinion of himself for being ab Albino. Outside of Family he would rather his name be respected and does not give a nickname or shortened name until he trusts. Within his Family though he simply goes by Akon, Adair, or even simply A.

Because of his uniqueness as an Albino, or perhaps it really is just his nature as he claims, Akon is very protective of his family and Often at Mother Aime's side. His distinctive hissing screech, reminiscent of a Barn Owl is a warning to those who come close without warning. The Brood has grown quickly becomes accustomed to his calls and somewhat find his flat pitch a comfort on rough days as they know their 'family ghost' is protecting them too. Since despite his cold demeanor towards outsiders he is very warm hearted with the young Draclings, though shows no inclination of breeding, himself.
