Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Harrison is quite loved by the lady dragons in his cave for his handsome scales and boyish charm. He is oftentimes found fleeing from female dragons, laughing to himself and enjoying his fame. The female dragons go crazy over his rough and manly roar, and his friends can't seem to understand it. Harrison is also a ravenous eater, and if anyone steals his food, he will rage for hours until someone brings him something else. He has only been known to share his food a grand total of one time throughout his lifetime. He's also a very spiritual dragon and respects nature. However, most of the other dragons get on his nerves and he has a sarcastic and snappy sort of personality. He isn't afraid to tell people exactly what he thinks of them.
