Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Evelyn would do anything for her leader and mate, Ambrose. Her first memories were of him teaching the 'ways' to her. Her existence, never quite explained except that he created her, remained forever to ponder, something she did often to pass the time. It was obvious from those first memories her beloved had been lonely and angry. Someone must have hurt him was her first assumption. That person would hurt, too. She would make them hurt. Evelyn's feelings blossomed once she matured, changing from admiration to unexplainable affection. She was overjoyed to have her feelings returned. After they became close, Ambrose revealed his big plans for this "MiekoClan", or whatever he had called it. They were to destroy it. Make all of whom shunned him for being what they are pay. She would not deny him his revenge. They would create more of themselves, and Evelyn would follow him till the end...
