Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Hair is a creepy little dragon who likes to unnerve humans by staring at them with his glowing green eyes, especially while they are trying to sleep. Their discomfort amuses him greatly. His other hobbies include biting the legs of other dragons, lurking in the shadows, sewing, playing with his food, and dancing maliciously at the children until they cry.
