Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Haran Earthblood is the first of the Earthblood dragons, and he is also the one who found the Veincaves, home of his clan. He spent fifty years cutting out more caves and expanding the cave system without anything but short breaks. He is the friend of the dracologist Axussriddare. His first mate was Pheralania Hillwill.

The Earthblood clan is a clan of dragons with "pure blood", meaning they have come from a wild dragon or been born by other dragons with "pure blood" (actually, it is enough with a "pure blood" dragon of the same breed on both sides of the family tree, or growing up in a pure blood clan). They live in great caverns known as the Veincaves and are closely linked to the Hillwill clan.
