Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

On December the 25th of 2010 it was raining badly. GiratinaOF was celebrating Christmas when there was very loud lightning. Suddenly there were two eggs near the cave in the rain. These eggs were later "Ribbon Dragon" and "Ribbon-Dancer".

Ribbon-Dancer is quite big for a Ribbon Dancer dragon. However, you could call her a "gentle giant" since she's always happy and peaceful. If she finds some plants to eat, Ribbon-Dancer always gives parts of it to other plant-eating dragons. In the night she dances in the sky together with Ribbon Dragon. She's the best friend of all Christmas dragons in the cave. However, she's scared of the Vampires and Black Marrows.
