Sunsong Amphipteres are an unusual breed. Due to light interference caused by their magical nature, they don’t seem to be affected by any ambient light source. However, when struck by direct sunlight, they shine a brilliant gold. They are playful and ever in flight; their ethereal and mysterious appearance and the fact that they are usually only seen at a distance have led many to believe they are a symbol of hope and good fortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

One of four identical sisters, Virtue of Compassion does her best every day to live up to her name. It is Compassion who cares for the hatchlings and elders, Compassion who advocates for dragons with less power when the stronger ones are lashing out. It is often Compassion who flies at the front of efforts to help other dragons, or even humans, for her nature will not let her still while there is yet need in the world.

It is Compassion who Laurels helps out, for the elder dragon frequently wears herself out in pursuit of her ultimate goal: she desires for every dragon to be all it can be, free of pain and fear, an ultimate, realized expression of greater Good.
