Moonstone Dragons are named after the orb on their tails, which resembles the gem of the same name. They are nocturnal and gather energy through the absorption of moonlight with their orbs. They seem to glow with a lunar light and are a very gentle breed, feeding off of plants and the moons’ power.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

This dragon is mysterious, appearing as a strange glow at night, circling other dragons, then disappearing. Many dragons claim that it was all moonshine, that they were just imagining things in the dark. One dragon believes, a moonstone dragon, he believes that it is a dragon, for he swears that he can hear a gentle song, whenever he sees the mysterious light. This dragon is shy, and if she is approached she will hide, but her glow often gives her away, so she runs.
