Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Undaunted Celadon had a difficult start in life. He was found wandering and severely ill as a hatchling, and only through the attentive care of his adoptive family was he able to recover. Though his life before this time remains a mystery, this early experience served to make Celadon one of the most widely traveled dragons in his community at a very young age. He is even now afflicted with wanderlust, often journeying to distant lands and sleeping under the stars for long periods of time. When he returns, the young dragons often crowd near and clamor for stories of his travels to these places they have never seen. Although a dragon of few words among his peers, he frequently indulges the young ones with fine, fantastic stories that may even be true.
