Sunsong Amphipteres are an unusual breed. Due to light interference caused by their magical nature, they don’t seem to be affected by any ambient light source. However, when struck by direct sunlight, they shine a brilliant gold. They are playful and ever in flight; their ethereal and mysterious appearance and the fact that they are usually only seen at a distance have led many to believe they are a symbol of hope and good fortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Sound of Glory, like most Sunsong Amphipteres, has a calm, benevolent nature. He rarely hunts as he prefers the sweet taste of exotic fruits and anything sugary. Sound of Glory spends his dragon days flying on his swift wings for he only lands for important reasons, like sleeping and eating. He has mastered many skills of the air and some have even said he can sleep-fly. Sound of Glory, or Glory for short, sleeps on the highest peaks of the mountain for he has a fear for the dark forests below. The thought of leaves covering the terrifies him, as he always wants quick access to the sky above. Glory was abandoned as a hatchling and during his time of abandonment another hatchling bit his spine in a play fight. He still now has a small chunk missing from the forth spine down. Glory rarely gets angry due to his placid character but when one calls him a lizard or pokes his broken spine he will be furious, and rather dangerous too.
