Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Skydapple is one of the main dragons that patrol the southern side of Feline clan's territory which borders the wildest and most untamed part of the area. She and her small group keep the area safe from humans and clan-less dragons, but she isn't just a blind follower of the rules. Due to the southern border's extremely tropical nature, it has common interactions with other dragons not from Feline clan and Skydapple is a kind-hearted female who gladly takes in abandoned eggs or hatchlings without a mother.

Skydapple is a dark chocolate-y brown with electric blue stripes, much brighter than her father Rockstripe's markings. Unique to most dragons, Rockstripe and Skydapple keep a close bond together as father and daughter and she is a favorite among many members of the clan for her kind nature and outgoing attitude.
