It was previously believed that purple dragons were exclusively female, but this is not the case. Recent environmental shifts have revealed the existence of both genders of this breed. Female behavior is well known; they are primarily herbivores but will eat meat during mating season. On the other hand, very little is known about the behavior and habits of male purple dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

The name Wysteaerian comes from the plant wisteria. It has purple flowers and is a vine, much like Wysteaerian's long, flexible, whisker-like horns. He is a peace maker, not a fighter, and often tries to make amends for fights (whether with words or claws) that he had no part of (he has been known to start a fight or two, mainly with Ohooria and her tendency to follow him around everywhere. He calls this her "Obsession".) He loves his owner half to death, even though he knows she stole his egg, and treats her almost like another dragon. He flies with her on his back sometimes; something most dragons would not tolerate. While Wysteaerian may resemble his namesake, he is nothing like the invasive personality of wisteria.  Even though in the wild, Wysteaerian would probably be shunned for this, he's glad he is different. Because the world would be so boring if everyone was the same.
