Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Vaidra's a tough act to follow. But if anyone can do it, it is Bellinoire, aka Elli. Up until now, Elli has lived her life with a sort of reclusive popularity. Everyone knows who she is and seems to really like her, but she's never really around.<br/>Truth be told, Elli is a dreamer. She can be whisked away by the simplest thing into a world of her own creation. Whenever she does, she is almost impossible to wake from her daydreams. <br/>Elli is also a fairly serious dragon. She doesn't take anything as a joke and as such is easily offended. <br/>Elli has recently had several encounters with Titon Staramber. She sees him as her prince, her hero. Trouble is, her parents don't really approve any more than they approve of her sister's relations to the black Tris. They see Titon as a failure. A big, stupid failure... But it's her choice and she's sure of it. Once she's set on something, she's stubborn and not above sinking down to get what she wants...
