Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Jade Envy is the Supreme Alpha.  She is in charge of all the dragons here in these caves, and she is the eldest.  She is a member and the leader of the Black Draco Cave.  As a hatchling, she was found by Abbi.  Even at a young age, she was unusually skilled at magic.  She is in charge of the Mage Faction, the group all dragons choosing to specialize in magic join.  She is an incredible magic user, she is very, very powerful. She spends much time with young hatchlings, teaching them and telling them stories.  She has mothered many chicks, two of which reside in this cave.  All dragons come to her for advice.
