Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Ruina lives on the upper floor of what was once an alchemy lab. She dares not put a claw on the ground of the island because it is infested with vicious Vine Dragons. She is forced to fly to the Main Island to hunt. Ruina is very skittish around other dragons because she was injured by an adult dragon when she was a hatchling. She likes to stay by herself. Because of the injury she received when she was young, Ruina can't put much weight on her front left leg. She walks with a limp, but she prefers to fly anyway. She keeps a large collection of gems and trinkets in what was once the alchemist's bedroom and likes to sleep on the big comfy bed, which is still a bit too small for her.
