Thunder Dragons are the masters of electricity. Their wings gather energy as they soar through the clouds, and when they clap their wings together they can create devastating arcs of lightning. They can stay airborne nearly indefinitely, landing only to sleep and breed; they catch their prey from the air and take moisture from the clouds. A thunder dragon’s roar is considered to be an omen of misfortune.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Sequen NightClash is the first thunder to join the Cave. Unlike many of the other dragons who live in the Cave, he came from a neighboring Clan. Sequen is rather quiet, as his voice often crackles with the booms and flashes of gales when he does speak. His mate, Soldaii FirstDrop, is one of the few with whom he speaks and she often is the middle party in a conversation involving him. There are many stories about him, including ones about how he came to be. It is believed that he was born when the lightning and thunder sounded at the same time, instead of one after another. As of only a few months ago, Sequen welcomed his first child into the world. He now spends all his time flying through storms that pass by so that the thunder and lightning gathers on his wings. Then he returns and coats his first born in what he has collected. He knows that the child will be a gray, like its mother, but he is content knowing soon, he will be a father.
