Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Geode Dragons are closely related to Stone dragons. They are covered in a hard stone-like material as well as beautiful crystal. Their wings are entirely useless for flight, but they help attract mates. The dragons with the most brilliant and colorful crystals are more likely to mate.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Etei, a geode dragon, dislikes her outer covering of crystal rock. This is probably due to the fact that she was raised alongside several black dragons. The blacks considered the crystals a useless frill, and that it only made everything worse. For the most part, they were right. Etei could not play hide and go seek well, as her sparkling gave her away, and she could not fly with her friends, as her wings were too heavy. After all the teasing her crystals gave her in her childhood, Etei convinced herself that deep down inside, she was just a black dragon like everyone else. After that, she spent most of her time slowly chipping away her crystals, trying to find the black scales underneath. Though she did not get far with that attempt, Etei still tells everyone that she meets that she really is a black dragon.
