Skywing Dragons spend most of their lives flying in the air. They hunt from the air, diving at prey from above, and land only to rest. They are some of the fastest fliers, capable of extremely high speeds. The webbing at the end of the tail acts as a rudder, allowing them to easily change direction during flight.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Wingtip Expansion is the unofficial adopted mother of Ancient Feud, an adult dragon that is not mentally developed enough to live on her own. Wingtip Expansion spends much of her day playing with the flamboyant and playful Ancient Feud, but Wingtip Expansion must also chase away pests from the crops. When she leaves Feud on her own, she is known to cry and get picked on. Wingtip Expansion tries her hardest to keep Feud protected from the other dragons but she can't be there for her all the time. It tears her up inside to have to leave Feud alone and vulnerable because she loves her like a daughter. Wingtip Expansion spends most of her life chasing away pests, not just from the fields but also pests that wish to torment Feud. Wingtip Expansion is a very strong and noble dragon that fights for the weak and vulnerable. She is sure to be the first to jump to anyone's aid, not just Feuds.
