Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Vertigo is a spiteful, viperish creature drained of any empathy for living beings, just as she was drained of life the day she was bitten. Born a Hellfire, one can assume that Vertigo was destined to be an aggressive beast by nature. Taken prematurely as she lay inside her shell, then twisted and malformed into an undead blight upon the land... it's easy to imagine why the vampire is devoid of any sympathy or compassion. However, do not mistake her sad history as reason to grant her pity; she would readily take advantage of any kindness you show her and use it to control you. At that she excels--Vertigo has proven herself a master manipulator capable of instilling corrupt thoughts into the most innocent of minds.

A frightening myth circulates the cave, claiming that those who look too deeply into the vampire's eyes are tormented with maddening thoughts. While nothing more than exaggerated gossip, no dragon denies that Vertigo is a creature you certainly want to avoid.
