Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Storming Silence is one of four Gray dragons who had been hatched in Acinacem Clan, yet left—together—like many Gray dragons before them. Named for his tendency to grow silent when angered, Storming Silence's usually quiet nature was almost never because he was shy or didn't want to talk. Though the group often made him angry with their near constant bickering, there were certain times where he felt a pronounced connection to them all, and, unwilling to give this up, stuck beside them no matter what. So, he was glad that when they joined the Hostile-Wrath alliance, they did so as a group. Having been fond of one of the other gray dragons in he group, Releasing the Storm, he soon found out that she felt the same. They became mates and now have one child as well.
