Nocturne Dragons are a strange breed. Whenever light strikes their bodies, they are frozen in whatever position they were in. This leaves them vulnerable and they rely on camouflage to keep themselves safe. They are often mistaken for statues when in this frozen state, but Nocturne dragons do not actually turn into stone. Rather, they merely idle until the sun goes down. At night, these dragons come to life, proving themselves to be powerful fliers, although little else is known about their true behavior.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

The beautiful blue dragon settles on a tree as the rays of the torturous sun rise for a new day. Geng Shi Long slowly turns into a statue-like thing. Her mate, Moonlit Crusader lands next to the figure and turns into what his mate is. The dragons of the cave got used to that. But they puzzle over Geng Shi Long's name. What does it mean Her master used a Chinese name to name her, for she ran out of ideas (and the good ones were taken). 'Geng' means 'dry in the sun and is usually used in names'. 'Shi' means 'grand; magnificent'. And the last word, 'Long', means 'dragon'. The master intended Geng Shi Long's name to mean 'sun-dried, magnificent dragon'. But as you can see, the master epicly failed. Not much can be seen for now, since these two nocturnal dragons are stoned. Wait till night, and their activity will spark again.
