Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Its eyes glow brightly at night, and it enjoys attacking insects and small animals.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Starless Shadow has an uncanny ability to blend in with the shadows. It can sneak up on any dragon, day or night, without them ever noticing it unless Starless Shadow decides to make its presence known to them.

Since it rarely speaks and can disappear at any time, many other dragons believe that Starless Shadow is either very wise or just unsocial. In reality, Starless Shadow is simply quiet, preferring to watch and wait instead of engaging in conversations.
