Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It always seems to be picking over its scales.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

PearlyClaws, a member of the Kitty Clan, dreams of one day becoming a princess. She believes that the world would be nothing without beauty, and often decorates willing adults' nests with shiny jewels, along with the paints that she makes herself from the plants nearby her home. She is a perfectionist, and will not rest until her decorations are just right, despite the "grown-ups" telling her she should. PearlyClaws does not get along well with her clan-mate, ChocoFeets very well. He is rather clumsy, and tends to get her scales dirty with his games in the mud, but always has good intentions.
