When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
The Tidepool Kraken is named because of her small size and ferocious attitude. She is smaller than the other water dragons, but is still much bigger than a hatching. Other dragon typically think that her small size is a disability, but it is actually very helpful. In battles, she has much more maneuverability, speed, and turning ability in the water, helping her end battles quickly, which makes up for her lack of stamina. Her small size also allows her to eat less from her home lake, which means that the environment by her home is well balanced. The Tidepool Kraken has earned her title by forcing one of the most battle-scarred water dragons out of his home and claiming it as her own. She currently resides in the Solar Lake, located east of the Millennium Mountains.
