Falconiform Wyverns are normally shy creatures. However, when approached, they often feel threatened, and the flames along their bodies leap higher. Females tend to be smaller than males, though Falconiform Wyverns are typically rather large overall. They use their size to their advantage by hunting smaller dragons. The Falconiform’s graceful, swooping dives are said to resemble birds of prey. Falconiforms are largely solitary dragons that only meet in order to breed.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Both extremely shy and extremely deadly, this wyvern regularly kills and feeds upon other dragons, yet seems conflicted about doing so and flees if confronted--usually back to the corner of a very shabby den, which for some odd reason the dragon refers to as "Mr. Smith." As if this weren't bizarre enough, the dragon is exactly that odd size at which identification as either a male or female falconiform is all but impossible to outsiders, leading to many confused guesses about the beast's gender. Despite all the inherent dangers and confusion surrounding the dragon, however, many daring youths approach it all the same, tormenting the flustered wyvern until it drops its trademark lines--"I don't know how to deal with it..." and "hey, did you know... my fire is blue."
