Paper Dragons are not truly living creatures. They are pieces of parchment enchanted by magic, and as such, are very vulnerable to fire. However, they behave almost like dragons. The only place where their behavior differs is breeding: paper dragons cannot breed.

Most paper dragon library assistants won't let an inky pen anywhere near them, but Scribble has always enjoyed being drawn on. He finds the sensation soothing, and besides, there are plenty of spells to easily remove anything he doesn't like. Though most doodles don't last past the end of the day, Scribble occasionally finds some that he'll keep around for a month or two, if not longer. The elaborate battle scene on the outside of his wings has been there for years and keeps growing in complexity.
